PFA Hose

PFA (perfluoroalkoxy) is a further development of PTFE and has comparable properties. An advantage is that it can be processed thermoplastically and allows easier production of defined quantities. Its production is however more expensive than that of PTFE.

Advantages of PFA Hose

Like PTFE, PFA has among other things, excellent sliding and non-stick properties, good electrical and dielectric properties, high temperature resistance and resistance to almost all chemicals. Therefore, PFA is often used as a corrosion-resistant lining in chemical plant construction or for hoses for corrosive chemicals. In contrast to PTFE, PFA is available in granulate form and can be processed by means of so-called screw extruders, giving the following advantages: It allows the production of theoretically endless strand lengths, fully automated extruder control and easy recycling.

In addition, as a PFA hose manufacturer we offer the "BEMUTHERM" flat heating element with PFA acid protection for heating corrosive media.

Renowned hose manufacturer: PFA, FEP and PTFE

In addition to PFA, our production program includes PTFE and modified PTFE as well as the other thermoplastically processable fluoroplastics: FEP, ETFE and PVDF. Our hose range encompasses heat shrink tubing as well as special and individual hoses.

If you have any further questions regarding our PFA hoses or other fluoroplastics, please do not hesitate to contact us.
